Pincher Creek Emergency Services Commission held a Training Event at Castle Mountain Resort July 11 and 12. This event is helped train members on the structural protection pre-plan for Castle Mountain Resort and allowed multiple agencies (Willow Creek Emergency Services, Crowsnest Pass Fire Department, Agriculture and Forests, Federal Parks Wildland Fire members and Pincher Creek Emergency Services) to train together and learn the skill necessary to set up an effective structural protection plan. Thank you to all members for all organizations for you participation and to the Resort for allowing us to use and train on the facility.
There is a Fire Advisory in place for the Town and MD of Pincher Creek effective August 18 ,2021
Existing permits for fire pits are now active and fire pits can be used following the conditions listed on the permit.
Debris burns will not be allowed under the advisory, no permits will be issued.
